Helping a friend

Some of my friends and I are getting ready to switch factions. We have one person in the guild that isn't able to pay for the switch of his toons at this moment.

I was wondering if there is any way short of him giving me his account information (which we aren't going to do), for me to pay to have his characters transferred to Horde side. Maybe if I call Billing they could do it over the phone? I'm not sure how that works.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Q u o t e:
Unfortunately he doesn't even have a bank account. He pays for just about everything in cash and buys game cards for his play time. I got him to start playing and paid for his expansions and stuff for him. I even buy him time every so often if I know he's having a rough month.

If i can't get him switched to Horde side, then I probably won't transfer either. It would stink to leave him behind when I'm the one that got him to start playing in the first place.

Thanks for your answers so far, Zouche. :O)

You could look into purchasing a pre-paid credit card for him. You could then either ship the physical card to him or send him the card's critical information via email or over the phone. You'll just want to first register the card online and then ensure that it possesses enough funds to account for the full service charge (in this case, $30 USD) and the $1 USD verification, also known as a "ghost charge." This might be the easiest and most secure method of paying for his Faction Change. :)
