Hey, I'm not sure when or what has caused this. sometimes its not that big of a problem but that's only for like 2-3 days, but when i attempt to log out, or to exit wow, the computer tells me wow has quit responding. though when i go to "processes" its using up 50% of my CPU. If i log out, it will sit there until i "disconnect" from the server. when i exit wow, it will more or less do the same thing but 10+ minutes later it will close. If i force close it, i generally loose all my setting, information and so forth for all of my addons. as if i did a fresh install of them.

i have tried disabling all of my "outdated" addons and the most recent ones I've added that came soon before i had these problems. no change. I've looked threw some of the information on here, but they are all old and in response to updates in the past. Recently i was opted in for the SC 2 beta testing, and so installed it, and it did not work. and so i have gone to the dell site to update my graphical things. i don't know if that may or may not have effected it, or aggravated it or had no effect at all, as i do not recall when i first started having these problems.

This problem happens no matter how long i have been playing wow. weather a brief hop on, or on for many hours.

after disabling all addons, it still was a 15 second delay for logging out of the character, so not too bad, but it still took wow 2 minutes to close from the log in screen.

-nosound did not seem to effect this at all.

Sionel,

Another program may be interfering with Wow. Try selective startup to get around this. Please be aware this mode will disable any security programs you may have running so refrain from doing other things while in this mode.

Hold the Windows key on your keyboard and press the letter 'R'. In the Run field type "msconfig" and hit Enter.
In the General tab:

1. Choose Selective Startup
2. Disable (uncheck) Load startup items
3. Click OK and Reboot

To undo selective startup, just recheck Load startup items.

Sionel,

I'm not sure if there is a specific program in the list that was causing issues. Usually, having too many startup programs will slow down the overall computer performance, which in turn will slow down the games response.

I would reactivate Avast and Trend Micro since those are security programs, and I would think about getting rid of the curse client. Running an addon client will increase the chances of you downloading malicious software which can cause for the account to get hacked.
