Blizz screwed up

I'm sorry, Krackr, but you seem to be mistaken.

No scam was found. The Master Looter linked the item and said to roll. They then counted down from 3 to 1 and top roll won the item. You rolled after 1 and seemed to insist that it was unfair because there was no 0. The Master Looter had already awarded loot based on this countdown method previously and only went from 3-1, remaining consistent.

As for the previous issue, you weren't Master Looter. You may have been passed lead at the time the Master Looter/Raid Leader disconnected but that doesn't make you Master Looter for the items that previously dropped.

The matter was discussed amongst your group the call for a roll was made, you rolled, which would indicate that you recognized that this person was able to determine that a roll should be made. You then had an issue with it because you lost and you didn't think the person who won the item did enough damage, etc. . . .

I'm sorry, Krackr, but these are completely different circumstances and in both cases it looks like the appropriate research was done and the appropriate actions were taken.

You rolled after the countdown, Krackr, that is the point. It wasn't 3, 2, 1 /roll or roll before the Master Looter calls 0. The way it was done was you had to roll, once roll was called by 1. You didn't.

I'm sorry, Krackr, but that is not something that we would become involved in. You went afk, no one acknowledged that you were going afk or said that they'd wait for you to get back. In my experience directly after a Boss is killed and the loot is distributed.

I understand that it isn't the fairest of circumstances but we don't generally become involved in looting disputes, which is what that circumstance would be considered. It wasn't deemed a scam.

This isn't a petition system, Krackr, and I'm not strictly a Game Master, so no surveys. :) I help moderate the Customer Service forum where we try to provide what advice and information we can regarding many in-game issues.
