Reposted here too in case this is the proper forum instead. >.<

I am one of the many players that was hacked recently. I reported the hacking Saturday morning and got my account back yesterday at lunch time. I played until about 2:00am, talking to some guildies and trying to farm a few things for money until Blizzard restores my stuff.

I wake up this morning and my account has been frozen.

Lovely.

Any information/email that I can use to contact someone about this?

This is kind of ridiculous...

I could try changing the payment method but I want to be sure it's safe before doing so. All I need next is for some Chinese con artist to steal my credit card info. My Dad would be like a bull in a china shop...

EDIT: Oh, and I am obviously posting on a different account. I, yet again, cannot post. Account character: Bluu - Undermine

Macs are vulnerable to this as well.

Q u o t e:

I know we are, I'm not one of those Mac Users who thinks OMG IM UNBEATABLE MUAHAHAHAHAHAHA and the Adobe thing is all I can think of.

But about my payment method -- was it removed simply because I had been hacked?

Possible. During maintenance our tools are somewhat limited, and a Game Masters access to billing information is marginal to start.

That would best be a question to ask Billing directly. If the payment method was removed, that would indeed cancel any rebillings. If the account was locked, banned, that could have done it as well to prevent rebilling. More specifics than that, Billing would best be able to answer.
