Faction change mailbox error

I keep getting the An error has occurred on this page A character cannot change factions while there is mail in their mailbox or en route to their mailbox. error

I do not have any mail, I do not have any auctions up, I don't have any incoming mail. I've been waiting over an hour since I first tried, and still getting this error. I don't know what to do. Please help, assistance would be greatly appreciated so I can faction change :D
