Q u o t e:
It wasn't breaking any rules whatsoever
That would be your opinion, Hunted. We have a different one. When reviewing a name we must not only look at the direct definition but also its varying implications. You know exactly what was meant by the guild name, given the ranks of the guild you would be hard pressed to justify it so lets save the indignation for another time and place.
Q u o t e:
Every member of this guild will be sending in an in game petition about this.
Every member of the guild will be told the same thing. Your guild leader is welcome to e-mail our Account Administration department and dispute the actions taken.
Q u o t e:
If our name is not changed within 2 weeks we will all be unsubscribing.
Please forgive me but if the only way we will be you is to accept such racially insensitive and similarly derogatory names I am sorry but I think that would be in the best interest of all of our other players who wish to play in an environment that is free from such things.
Q u o t e:
I'm posting this because we'd like to know why our GM was suspended and why the name was changed.
Frankly, Hunted, what actions we take towards another player is between us and them.
Q u o t e:
Once again he has not received an email.
Have him check his spam filter and junk folder, an e-mail was sent.
Q u o t e:
I don't find it offensive at all.
That is obvious since your other posting character is in the guild.
Folks, it is an important point to make that we can tell when you post from alternate characters and accounts. Posting in support of yourself is basic trolling and will be treated accordingly.
I'm afraid I won't allow this thread to continue.
