Wow account upgrade

About a week ago I linked my friends account with mine and then yesterday I bought the upgrade for his account. The thing is, it reads on my credit card that I bought it and it took money but I didn't get any message saying I bought it nor has he gotten the upgrade. I'm not gonna pay for something that I didn't get. And I don't know why but my character changed. It's Thindris

From what I can see, Thelastjoker, the only Recruit a Friend account that is currently active and linked to the account you are posting on is actually on your Battle.net account.

My best guess is that you sent your friend an invitation, which they opened on your computer while you were still logged into your Battle.net account. This automatically linked the Recruit a Friend trial account onto your account. It should be listed as Wow1 on your Account Management page.

When you upgraded your friend's account you just upgraded a normal trial. Our Billing department should be able to help though and get you two properly linked. Please give them a call.

Understand that call volume is fairly high at the moment so please continue to call, you should eventually get though to a Billing Rep.
