Conflicting GM responses

We had a raid leader scam us out of the saurofang chest Thursday night. I rolled the highest on Deathbringers will, of course the clown looted the whole chest to himself then logged out of the game.

We all opened tickets, the gm responded that he WOULD be investigating the issue. When I followed up to ask if they needed screenshots to prove I had won the item they told me that the investigation was complete.

So following up yet again to see what the status was, the gm just escalated my ticket then poof i had a survey with no response or chat from a gm.

Any time of clarification would be greatly appreciated.

The Game Master staff reviewed this issue quite thoroughly and took all appropriate actions in accordance with our policies, Raxus. Unfortunately, they have determined that they will be unable to award loot in this particular case because they did not feel there was a suitable amount of information available for them to award the item to another player. Should you wish to leave your feedback on the way this issue was handled, please feel free to send your feedback to [email protected].

Q u o t e:
Please note that if In-Game Support is able to determine a scam has taken place after a clear in-game loot distribution agreement is made, any items involved may be removed from their current owners. In cases where a "rightful" owner can be proven, these items may also be transferred; however, loot will be left unassigned if a "rightful" owner cannot be identified. Due to the privacy associated with these investigations, In-Game Support will be unable to release details regarding an investigation's findings, actions taken, or its final outcome.
