[BUG] Defending the Rift: Submarine Issue

I accepted the quest, which I believe to be "Defend the Rift," where you board the Alliance submarine to assist Neptulon in defeating the Naga invasion.

After speaking to the Earthen Ring NPC, I was sent to a cut scene of the submarine traveling to the Rift. Then I went through a loading screen. After the loading screen I appeared on an incomplete submarine and was promptly disconnected.

When I logged back in, I was outside the submarine, invisible [including a blank unit portrait], all my directional controls were flipped, and I was unable to either keyboard or mouse turn. Furthermore, though I could move, I was considered stunned, and thus not able to use any abilities.

I first attempted to reboard the submarine by swimming into it, but was again disconnected.

After reconnecting, I abandoned the quest, which did nothing. Then I swam to the surface, but I had the same issues.

After this, I suicided myself by standing near the AoE of the Naga, spirit rezed, but was still in the same state.

As such, I am unable to continue testing. I submitted a GM ticket [which I'm not certain is even being monitored, but it can't hurt] and I also submitted an in-game report.

On a positive note, I am very much enjoying the Vashj'ir quests. The flow and story are very engaging and I think this, with the goblin starting area, is the best work the developers have done.

Hope this helps!

With regards,

Hi all,

We are aware of this issue. Unfortunately we don't quite have a fix for this yet in our internal builds, so it'll be a while before this is fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience. =(
