Canadian authenticator in Korea

I live in Korea but play on a NA account... will an authenticator work? Should I buy a Korean one to work on my NAmerican account, or do I need a North American (Canadian) one?

Note: I am a Canadian currently living in Korea... playing a Korean version of WOW is not an option. I don't speak Korean and my friends play with me from Canada.

While there are things that won't cross regions, like gamecards - or versions of the game itself - authenticators should work when purchased from any region, in any region.
