Need help with loot issue.

This happened multiple days ago but it takes forever for in game GM's to respond and when they do I swear they wait for you to log out. I was in an ICC 10 pug (on my warrior sparticas) and the tank bracers dropped from Saurfang. I was the only person who rolled on them but was unable to be awarded them because I zoned through the portal before the chest was opened (I had no idea that disqualifies you from loot). The raid leader tried looting them to himself and trading them to be but I was an invalid target.

I immediately petitioned blizzard and days later got a response saying they were unable to assist. I kept on responding saying I wasn't going to accept that as an answer because I was the only person in the raid who needed the item and it is unfair im getting screwed out of them due to a system limitation.

After being shrugged off a few times I was finally able to speak to a GM in game who told me I was SOL unless I can have the raid leader make the petition. I doubt that would be a problem except I do multiple pug ICC 10's a week and I dont remember who the RL was. The GM said he was unable to release the persons name and unwilling to contact them himself ([Removed] is the GM i spoke with). I should have taken pictures or something but I honestly didn't think Blizzards customer service would be this frustrating and unwilling to help out in an innocent mistake.

I finally had the GM handle this as if it was a loot rule violation because in raid it was stated MS > OS (not that I believe the RL willingly ninjad the item, i dont even think he was able to wear it, but im just trying to find a creative way to have Blizzard GM's do their job). But with as long as it takes Blizzard to respond and how disengaged they are when they do I have absolutely no confidence in this getting resolved.

Do I have any other options? I refuse to believe Blizzard's customer service is THIS bad.

Relativity, let me go over a few things.

First, reporting something as a scam does not mean it was a scam. Please do not use an alternate category as that only serves to confuse the issue.
Q u o t e:

I immediately petitioned blizzard and days later got a response saying they were unable to assist.

I am sorry that the initial response was not clearer, Relativity, it looks like the phrasing in the original petition caused a bit of confusion which is why you received the response you did. The second petition you submitted which would have been using the Need more Help option, advised you to have the owner of the item submit a petition.

The third, was the one where you claim that you can not recall the name of the raid leader. Our Game Masters are generally unable to provide the name of other players as it can potentially lead to harassment issues. When you contacted us again the Game Master was able to look into it further, determined that they could quote the name you used in your original petition and provided the needed information.

Your last petition simply informed us of what happened to the item in question. You also expressed confusion as to why the item couldn't simply be transferred to you since we technically could verify that you won it.

In essence, Relativity, unless a scam has taken place or we have permission, we do not remove items from characters. Permission is granted by the person with the item submitting a petition and requesting that the item be transferred to another qualifying member of the raid.

Now, from here I have two bits of advice.

One: Have the person who had the item submit a petition. That has yet to happen, I understand that there has been further complications but I can assure you that if this person submits a petition soon there is a good chance we may be able to help.

Two: If you wish to provide feedback on the service that was provided at any point along the way please use the feedback option. Though the occasional error is bound to happen, after all outside of your occasional Centaur most of us are human, it is always a good idea to have these things reviewed and corrected whenever possible.
