I had NOT played since about 6 months after TBC was released. When I called to recover my accounts it was because I could not remember all my registered email addresses. The rep I spoke to was very helpful and restored all of my accounts. However, he informed me that one of my accounts had been 'banned' for some sort of illegal activity back in January.
He told me he would put in a ticket request for a GM to look into it but that it would take 7-10 days. This morning I got an email from Blizzard stating that they could not restore items I had requested. They did an item restore request instead of an account investigation!
I would like to continue playing all of these accounts(there are 4 in total) but this is just annoying. I waited 7-10 days for a lazy GM to not even process the request right? Could someone please investigate this?
