Let me explain.. There is a link on my Realm forums that shows you've lost 5% of your active subscriptions in the past months. 600k subscriptions lost, fifteen dollars a month, twelve months a year makes a yearly loss (Given that they aren't coming back) of around 108,000,000. ( Thanks Dala! ) And your solution to all this is pushing content out faster? I'm shaking my head.
Does this solve the problem? No. Why? World of Warcraft has been the highest quality MMO of it's time. We have always had the best polish, story, and expansions ( exclude Cata ) that the MMO world has to offer. Some of the bets writters, animation team, and Devs I have ever seen. Your in-game GMs are nothing but helpful and friendly. ( However, the wait times are always horrible. =/ )
However, your reason you are getting all this grief is because the players you have spoiled over the years are now noticing the lack of quality in the game. Reskinning and giving us more Troll lore isn't worth a whole patch.
Now, this brings me to the conclusion that most of your amazing writters, devs, etc. etc. have jumped ship.
This isn't true at all. I have found out that most of them are working on Titan.
Is this why you are rushing, reskinning, and putting out boring lore, quests, and PvP? Are you trying to run WoW into the ground so that when Titan does come out, it will be not have any competiton.. with it's own company?
I just can't wrap my finger around why you are no longer giving us a quality game. If what I said is true, however, I do hope you take your time with Titan, and give it eveything WoW is lacking, plus more.
