Why has my ticket been escalated?

Hello,

I recently subitted a service ticket regarding a character restore. My account was not compromised, I simply made an error in judgement. My ticket now reads that it has been escalated. I am curious as to why and is it possible to see the status and possible time it may be complete.

Though true, not all escalations are the same. With queue times where they are we have been working on ways to address petitions more efficiently. Thus the request for a simple character restoration was identified and placed in a special escalation queue to have the request looked into.

Overall queue times currently fluctuate between 2-5 days, we hope to get those to a more manageable state and this is one way that we can help do that.
