Not necessarily - though you could experiment with a class, race or faction combination that you haven't explored yet. At worst you can kill some time, and at best you could discover a facet of World of Warcraft that you might have completely overlooked.

What Shandiee said has merit though. I know the wait times are long - longer than any of us would like, and we're working to reduce them - but in the meantime, taking steps to secure your system and make sure that this never happens again can't hurt.

We are and have been hiring. Investigating an account recovery is hardly a simply process however, and it takes qualified personnel to perform the necessary investigations. Hiring more people isn't even necessarily the best solution in a case like this. You can rest assured that we haven't been sitting on our haunches and impassively watching wait times increase.

Reaching our players more swiftly is a serious issue, and we're taking serious steps to address it. As with any big change, that too will take time though.
