I have been reading more and more of people being banned for trading or mailing gold to themselves between different accounts under the same person's name. I opened up a RAF account several months back and leveled my characters and decided to keep it open. I do not want to trip any kind of security settings that could disable my accounts so can BLUE please tell me if you can be banned for trading large gold amounts between your own accounts?
I have an account that paid for a long time (dont know if its against TOS to say how long so won't for now) and do not want to trip and security issues.

Thanks for the help

Q u o t e:
You will not be banned for trading gold to yourself. Or even your friends. So long as the gold is legitimately-obtained.

My guildmates and I recently pooled over fifty thousand gold using a combination of paid transfers and other methods, and we have not received any account actions at all.

In most cases where people have received account actions, the problem turns out to be related to acquiring materials or gold from compromised accounts. If it was done without the knowledge of the player, the account action will generally be overturned.

The above is spot on, Bankers! Just so as long as the gold is your own, and gained legitimately, you have nothing to fear. I, myself, have a "bank alt" who holds the majority of my gold at any given time; if I need something off the Auction House he is the one to purchase it, and distributes it to the character in need. This is not an uncommon practice, and is a perfect way for those of us that like to keep all of our gold off our main characters. :0P
