I just got hacked

If you still get hacked after that then you need to do some serious virus and keylogger scanning.

Other than that expect to have all of your stuff back in a day or so. Depending.

And for everyone out their saying I am stupid and shouldn't view webpages with keyloggers and false messages, I am a network administrator and I know how to protect a PC and I still believe this may be a flaw within the Blizzard Acount Database, however people do make mistakes, I just tend to make few.

Well anyway, any comments on account hacking would be nice, would like to hear about similar problems from people that fall victim to this rediculous fate.


I can completely understand how frustrating - even anger provoking - this situation can be. I'd like to ask that you take a moment, take a deep breath, and remain as calm as possible.

First, there's no need to threaten to cancel your accounts; after all, we're eager to lend a hand. If you've appropriately reported your account compromise, then our staff will investigate and do their utmost to help as soon as they possibly can. To give you an idea regarding the time frames involved, these investigations are currently taking over a week, though I should mention that this is a very rough estimate. While no restoration is ever guaranteed, our staff will work to provide as complete a recovery as possible.
