Absolutely! Once you log into the game client using your Battle.net credentials, you will be asked to choose the WoW account you wish to access from a list of your merged accounts. After you make your selection, the realm selection screen will appear so you can complete your login as normal. If you want to log into two accounts at once, just open up two different client windows.

You can also simplify this process by checking the "Remember Account Name" box. If you check this box, the next time you open up the game client after successfully logging in, a drop-down menu will appear right below the account name field. This menu will contain all accounts merged to your Battle.net account and allow you to select your WoW account before you even login.

Think of a Battle.net account like a keyring and your merged WoW accounts like keys around it. Each key is still unique and treated individually; however, by placing all your keys on the ring, they're easier to access and manage. :)

I have 2 accounts and 1 battlenet ID - my underage son plays on my second account.

Is it possible to have an authenticator linked to the individual accounts rather than to the battlenet account? I would like to secure each account seperately as we don't always play together in the same room.

Not at this time, Blastadin. Since the Authenticator attaches to the Battle.net account and not the individual WoW accounts, it's not currently possible to have two different Authenticators applied to two different WoW accounts merged to the same Battle.net account.

You may want to consider creating a separate Battle.net account, also registered in your name, and then moving your son's account to that account. That way, you can have one Authenticator attached to your first Battle.net account and another attached to your second Battle.net account. If you're curious about pursuing this option further, go ahead and give our Billing & Account Services representatives a call. :)
