Ingame email Cataclysm Beta acceptance...

Hi...

Today i received an in game email saying i was approved for Cata Beta testing.
Anyone else getting this email? My real email has not received anything yet.
It had a web address to go to and login.
I went to the address and the site looks real, but the address seems fake.
Not sure if I can post the address here or not so i wont.
Naturally I didnt log in on the site, even though I was pretty excited about it.

Anyone else getting this?

I know I get alot of fake emails outside the game asking for login info so I kinda keep eyes open for junk.

It is extremely likely that the website you visited was fake, Valkarie. We have not, and as far as I am aware will not, send invitations via in-game mail. Instead, we will send an e-mail to your registered e-mail address containing more information. For helpful tips on how to identify phishing scams, please review the following threads:
