Does server transferring cancel raid lockouts ?

I know that when i faction changed awhile back raids were reset and i thought it was the same for server transfer but a friend said it doesn't.

I'm not trying to do anything fishy, just that i might be transferring server to join another guild and if they don't get reset then i don't wanna get saved.

Q u o t e:
Will my raid IDs be reset following a Character Transfer?

Transferred characters will be allocated a random Raid ID when arriving at their new realm or account. If you transfer a character, it will not be possible to continue with any instance progress you may have made on your original realm or account. Once your Raid ID for the instance has reset, you will be able to join groups with players on your new realm and start adventuring again.

What this means, Notanotherdk, is that, upon transferring realms or accounts, your character's current raid ID will not be reset; instead, it will be replaced with a random ID. :)
