Recovery Status? -- EDIT 5/27: GM please :)

Hello,

I had my account compromised between 11:30 pm PST on May 18th and 11:00 am PST on May 19th. I contacted a GM in game just after noon on May 19th and was told my account had been placed into investigation and that the current wait time for account restoration was 6 - 7 days. Since I was told that time frame, it has been 7 full days and I have not heard anything about where my account is in the process.

I understand that there is a queue and that hacking has become an increasingly rampant problem and I am definitely thankful for what Blizzard does for their players, I simply want to know where I am in the process, because I have reached the maximum number in the time frame I was given.

P.S. I have always been very careful with my account and computer security but somehow I still managed to get compromised. Any players reading this, I honestly recommend getting an authenticator. I got one for my BlackBerry for 99 cents, so make sure to check out the availability of mobile authenticators!

I have had most of my stuff restored at this point. Two of my characters were deleted though. I received the email telling me they had been restored on the correct server (Spinebreaker) and when I logged in, both are on Spirestone and unplayable. When I try to log in to one, it says: "You cannot log in until the character update process you recently initiated is complete."

I'm curious if this means they are being moved back to Spinebreaker or what. Also, in my email, there was no mention of guild bank items which were taken and I'm curious if those will be restored?

Full account restorations are requiring a bit more time than when you were first placed in queue. They're about 7 to 10 days right now, so it looks like you've a little more of a wait ahead of you.
