As your fellow posters have noted, Bind on Account items may currently be mailed cross-faction, but not cross-realm. The Bind on Account system, when introduced, was limited by the in-game mailing system. Meaning, the restrictions in place for sending in-game mail also affected the transfer of Bind on Account items. We've slowly, but surely started making adjustments to this system to enable players to share BoA items with more characters on their account. We've more adjustments planned for the future. For example, cross-realm mail for Bind on Account items is under development at this time (
