Website down?

i cant log into battle.net or the website PTR section, keeps giving me an http error, any ideas?

Let me see if I am understanding correctly, Pherox.

Whenever you visit http://us.battle.net, you are given the error message you provided in your second post?

Do you see this error message right away, or is it only after you try to log in?

Roger that. That's exactly what I thought was happening and just wanted to make sure. This is something that our technicians are already aware of and are looking to resolve as quickly as possible. I'm afraid that I do not have any other specific details to provide right at this moment, but I'll do my best to keep you all up-to-date in this thread.

Based upon what I've seen, these issues appear related, so it's entirely possible that the resolution will address both issues. Should the PTR section continue to experience issues after the resolution is implemented, I'll be sure to mention it to the appropriate parties.

After speaking with the technicians addressing this issue, they informed me that these websites will continue to be inaccessible during this period of maintenance. While they do not yet have a definitive time frame, they will do their best to restore access to these pages as soon as maintenance has concluded.
