Got this today and was wondering what is up? I have NEVER bought gold. My boyfriend sends me gold and items sometimes but its always small amounts. Please let me know, OK?

In game whisper:
<Blizzconstan> Hello! Blizzard game system scan to your account, a violation of rulesof the game's virtual currency trading! Please visit our website <removing malicious URL> review your account information, or we will suspend your account.

I tried to reply as soon as I got the tell but it said no one by that name in game. Tried a /who Blizzconstan and got "0 char by that name".

I think this is a phishing attempt but need to know for sure.

That is a scam.

As others have stated - please do use the Report Spam feature on any whispers you get like that.

Any time we message you we are ALWAYS going to have a blue Blizzard logo by our name.
