Subscription Related Issues - May 16, 2010

Greetings, all.

We are currently investigating a number of reports indicating that recurring subscription payments are not processing. We do not have any additional details or workarounds to provide at this time; however, we will do our best to provide any updates as they become available.

If you are currently experiencing a subscription related issue, please reply to this post and answer the following questions:

  • Is the account you're having an issue with the account you're posting with?
    • If not, what is the name and realm of a character on the account in question?
  • Which payment method are you using for your recurring subscription (e.g. Paypal, Credit Card, etc.)?
  • Are you renewing an inactive account or did your subscription just expire?

In the meantime, please keep all discussion of subscription related issues isolated within this thread to ensure we're able to gather information and relay important updates as easily as possible.

It's possible that you will be able to purchase prepaid game time from the Blizzard Store (http://us.blizzard.com/store/details.xml?id=110000004) or game cards from a local retailer to apply game time to your account immediately. However, I am unaware of any workarounds which will allow you to process your currently pending subscription payments.

This issue appears to have been resolved, but you may need to update your subscription for the changes to take hold. Please try updating your subscriptions to ensure you are properly billed for your future subscription payments. I've posted my info on this matter previously.

Now, my account status appears to be on a 3 day free period (thank you) but the payment I made to Blizz via paypal no longer shows up on my account management page.

My paypal and credit card both show the money has been given to Blizz ( paid ) so hopefully you can sort this out soon and put the time I paid for on my account.

It is likely that one of these payments will not clear, Valkarah. If both payments end up clearing, please contact Account Services using one of the above numbers and they will look into this for you.
