Not sure if this is the correct forum but it seemed my best bet.

Today i noticed the beta testing has begun for the remote AH. When i try to use it, i get a message your server is not currently available or something... but could not find a list of the servers that are currently participating in this. The information post on the armory site just says "select realms". Could anyone direct me to a list of these realms? Would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

The World of Warcraft Remote Auction House beta test is now open for business! The Remote Auction House is a new service in development that lets players access the World of Warcraft Auction House from the Armory website (http://us.wowarmory.com/auctionhouse/) or the Mobile Armory app for iPhone and iPod touch (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=321057000&mt=8). Players can browse their characters’ local Auction Houses with the same search functionality available in the game, as well as see the real-time status of each of their current bids and auctions.

As we’d mentioned previously, certain features of the Remote Auction House will be premium-based. Once the beta test is complete and the Remote Auction House is live, players will be able to subscribe to a new service called World of Warcraft Remote (http://us.wowarmory.com/wow-remote.xml), which will allow them to buy items; post items for sale from a character’s bags, bank, or mailbox; collect gold from their bids and auctions; and more. During the beta test, players can try out these features for free, and each World of Warcraft account will be able to perform up to 25 transactions per day. (Please note this limit will be increased at launch.)

The list of realms eligible to participate in the beta test is displayed below. If your realm is not on this list, please check again soon, as we plan to eventually open the beta test to all realms.

Anub'arak
Blackwater Raiders
Bladefist
Cenarion Circle
Cenarius
Darrowmere
Echo Isles
Fenris
Hyjal
Korialstraaz
Lightbringer
Maiev
Misha
Ravenholdt
Shu'halo
Sisters of Elune
The Forgotten Coast
Uther
Vashj
Winterhoof

:-( It's getting close to time for me to quit.

This sort of thing has no business in the game.

too much in this world has become "instant gratification" and "mobile"... would YOU survive if all of a sudden modern technology ceased to function? I know I would.

Probably not, considering my income is based off of modern technology. If it ceased to function/exist I would be out of a job, which would leave me with limited funds, which I wouldn’t really be able to access without the banks functioning, and probably lead to starvation on my end. O.o

On a serious note, though, Kadikur, if you are unhappy with the World of Warcraft Remote Auction House (which I would like to remind you, is a completely optional additive service ) then I would urge you to let your voice be heard. We would very much like to hear your feedback on this new and exciting innovation. The appropriate place to focus your comments would be on the Suggestions Forum, though, where those that have the power to make the calls to change things can see your opinion.

I understand your point with instant gratification, Kadikur, Louis C.K. makes a similar point while on the Conan O'Brien. If you have not seen the video, I would look it up, comic relief regarding the situation, but still a similar stance as yourself.
