Why are phonelines always full?

Afte getting an account compromised Blizzard says to call them 1800-59-blizzard

Which would be cool if u could EVER GET IN! I have been phoning every 3 minutes for the past 2 hours and it says this EVERY TIME

"All lines are currently busy please try back again later" And it keeps doing this until they are closed! [inappropriate acronym removed] ?!??!

And they're always full because people A) think it's also the GM department (which it's not); B) have other issues than just hacks--it's also the call center for the Blizzard Store and other Blizzard games (i.e. Diablo, Starcraft, earlier Warcrafts).


Myrandriel, is correct. Our Billing and Account Services department receives calls for all manner of issues, including many that they are not able to help with directly. Unfortunately though we continue to hire and train additional staff and work on ways to improve our overall response times this will take time. Our staff does it's best to get through each and every call as efficiently as they can.

What were you attempting to contact Billing about? You seem to have access to this account, and I don't show that an Authenticator was maliciously attached. Were you simply trying to report that your account was compromised or was some information changed that you need to correct?

If you simply need to report that your account is compromised, our In-Game Support staff is best suited to address that, instead of calling you can submit an in-game petition or e-mail [email protected].
