Restoring items after being "Hacked"

So I'm calmly waiting for a response to my help ticket to get my items back but I'm wondering how they do this?

Is it just a restore to a previous save point?

Just curious if I can go fishing for Old Crafty while I wait for this or would the achievement just get wiped.

Krunks is mostly correct. We analyze our logs, identify losses, and then restore those items back to the appropriate characters. The only time a character is "rolled back" is when the character was transferred to a new realm or involved in a faction change. So, please, feel free to keep fishing for Old Crafty; if you catch him, your achievement won't be going anywhere. :)

That's definitely an idea worth bringing up on the Suggestions Forum, Tildee. Due to legal restrictions surrounding suggestions, I cannot weigh in on the suggestion itself, but I can tell you that the reason why we do not provide rollbacks as a Customer Service staff is because there is a potential for the character to lose progress as a result of our actions. We would rather spend a little extra time restoring the items instead of rolling back characters because we don't want you to lose that level you gained, achievement your earned, or epic you looted while you were waiting for a restoration.

If you would like to see some sort of rollback feature be made available to players who have been compromised, please be sure to share your suggestion on the Suggestions Forum. :)

Thanks!

You are still within queue to be restored, Tildee. Based upon your current position within queue, I'd expect to see restoration provided by the end of the day, but I am unable to offer any guarantees as wait times can fluctuate quite a bit.
