Neutral Ah Money Transfer Q

I would like to start out by saying this is just a question of curiosity and I am asking if it's safe before attempting to do anything.

Basically I am linked as a RAF with my girlfriend whom has all 3 Expansions also now. My question is That on another realm I have some gold on Horde Characters but she wants to play on the alliance side of that realm since a co-worker of hers is Alliance on that realm I was wanting to play with her too, obviously for the 3 times EXP!

So I feel no need to have the Horde toons anymore but my toon does has a small fortune and would like to know if my girlfriend creates her Alliance toon and goes to Bootybay and creates an auction of something useless for the amount I have on my Horde toon, Could we do this just for gold transferring or is not allowed?

Yes I know about the %15 loss which is nothing since if I can't, it would be deleted anyways. Thanks for your help Blues and fellow Wow players!

You're absolutely welcome to do this if you are willing to part with the auction fees, Potayto. Also, it may be worth noting that you are able to play both Horde and Alliance characters on all realms (including PvP realms) now, so deleting all of your Horde characters may not be necessary. I encourage you to think hard about this and only delete the characters you know you will not be interested in playing or faction changing later down the line!
