Gooooooood Tuesday morning CSF!

From our Service Status Forum....

http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=24915271410

We will be performing scheduled maintenance on Tuesday, May 18, 2010. Maintenance will begin at 5:00 AM PDT and conclude at approximately 11:00 AM PDT. During this time, all realms and many web services will be unavailable.

Thank you for your patience.

Please do remember these are estimated times and realms may return a bit sooner....or later than predicted.

Today is an excellent time to do maintenance on your own systems - update, scan, dust....:)

Tuesday recommended reading list.

Also, here is a handy time conversation table for timezones.

As all maintenance schedules are provided in PDT, should you not live on the pacific coast, you will need to adjust this time accordingly. :)

    Here's a quick table to reference:
    HST = PDT - 3 hours
    MDT = PDT + 1 hour
    CDT = PDT + 2 hours
    EDT = PDT + 3 hours
    ADT = PDT + 4 hours
    Newfoundland = PDT + 4.5 hours
    GMT = PDT + 7 hours
    AEST = PDT + 17 hours

Hey, folks! Most realms are now online at this time. We're still working to bring battlegroup Stormstrike and realm Drakkari back online soon.

All realms should now be live except Drakkari. We're working to bring that realm up as quickly as possible. :)

Can those of you who were previously attempting to access Battle.net Account Management try to relog at this time? :)

Q u o t e:
if we leave the post like this the same thing will happend again and again. Please keep posting.
I need (we all need) an explanation about why our realm was almost 5 hours down after the maintenance was over.

Hope to see you guy in game and in the forum as well.

The reason that any realm continues to remain unavailable is due to issues - either hardware or software related. While I understand that this situation was probably rather frustrating for you, it is extremely unlikely that further details will be forthcoming.

Keeping this post 'bumped' will likely only result in disciplinary action that we'd prefer to avoid.
