I understand that our wait times are currently higher than we would like them to be, Shamwhoaz. In the interest of self-help I would like to point out the nifty Knowledge Base articles you should see by default when attempting to submit an in-game petition. While you can search for issues and look for information on your own, I would like to draw your attention to the Alternate Currency System FAQ which is conveniently located as a “top issue” on that front page. If you were to select that option you would find the following question/answer combination:
Q: If I enchant or socket an item purchased within an Alternate Currency, will I still be able to refund it?
A: As of 3.2, if you enchant or socket an item purchased with alternate currency, the ability to refund the item will be removed. If you attempt to enchant or socket an item with an active refund timer, you will be prompted with a confirmation box before the enchant or socket will be applied.
Unfortunately, along side 3.2 we also clarified our stance on Alternate Currency Reimbursements and the position our Game Master staff would be taking from that point forward. In that statement we comment on the fact that, if an item purchased with alternate currency is enchanted, socketed, gemmed, or mailed, the option to reimburse the item will be forfeited.
You can find the aforementioned statement here: (
