Name change question?

Hello and good afternoon all :)

I have a small question about the name change option as I want to be 100% sure I understand it before even attempting :)

I will try to make this sound not so confusing lol

I have 2 characters on my account. My goal is to rename character A. But I want to then give it character B's name.

Do you choose the new name during the process or do you get to choose the new name when you go to log on (like what happens when your name is flagged for rename)? I assume it is during the name change process but I wanted to make sure.

So then I would need to delete character B so I can use her name. It says I need to wait 20 mins between logging out and starting the rename process. Does that mean logged out of my character or entire account? I am so worried that in that short window my characters name might get taken by someone else. The odds are probably tiny but it is a very good name that would be very popular to take.

Also once the process begins and has been sent through (waiting for it to be approved) does the name become unavailable for use then? Or not until the character has actually been changed.



Ok another question, my sister has a account that has been canceled for awhile. She no longer plays. I would LOVE a name she has for one of her characters- must be like lvl 40 or under I think she didnt play long lol.

She would love to help me get the name but doesn't want to restart up the account & me doing it is not worth hearing my husband bug me about how dumb it is to waste money for a name lol even more so after the already paid name change lol :)

But then I remembered that I thought there was some option to bring back old accounts for like a "trial" to see if they wanted to start playing again or something? Am I just having wishful thinking or is there something like that?
