Recruit-A-Friend Triple Account Mishap

I recently sent a friend a recruit a friend invite key and told him I was going to send it. Thinking it was a key he would enter into his account after the game had been downloaded, he started a trial download on his computer and checked his email. I am not 100% sure how this happened because I personally have never seen what the recruit-a-friend email/key looks like, but yesterday we found out that something is wrong with his account. He was getting near the level 20 mark with one of his characters, so I decided to gift him with the full game and two months of game time as an early birthday present, hoping that I would also get my rewards as well. After I did this and he applied the gifts to his account, he logged into battle.net and informed me that he now has three different WoW accounts. I'm assuming that the first one is the trial that he downloaded and the second one is the recruit-a-friend trial. I don't understand why the full game and the two months of game time that I paid for is not on either one of those accounts, but it is on a third account that has not been used yet. Later that night, we created new characters on the second account to confirm that this account was actually giving us triple XP (at first we thought we were getting triple XP on the first account until we realized what happened).

So my question is what is going to happen when his trials expire? Is the full game account going to just randomly choose one of the trial accounts to roll over? Or are both of the trials going to expire and he will have to start completely over (and the recruit-a-friend will be gone). It would be a shame if either account expired because on one hand the characters he has been working hard on leveling will be gone, and on the other the recruit-a-friend will be gone and neither of us will get our bonuses. Is there anyway that all three accounts can just be put onto one account with all of his characters? That's all he wants and needs. I've put a lot of time and money into trying to make this work and I am getting worried that I am going to be really disappointed either way.

In a case like this, there are a few different options. If he wants to keep the trial account he was already playing, but get it upgraded, calling is his best option. If he would like to just get Recruit-A-Friend benefits added to the World of Warcraft account which is a full version, we can help out over the forums. Basically, he would have to start new characters on that account, but the bonus experience would help him catch up to where he was pretty quickly.

If you would like to just retroactively add recruit abilities, please have him make a character on the full account and provide me its name and realm. You will also need to send out a new Recruit-A-Friend invite to his e-mail. Make sure it is not used, it just needs to be sent so I can use it for the retro link.

Q u o t e:
Hi I am the friend that is having trouble with his account. First off thank you for your help with the issue. I am doing what you suggested and I have just made a character on the full account. The characters name is Lisch and it is on the Icecrown realm. I have received the new Recruit-A-Friend invite. Again thank you for your help.

I do apologize for any delays. The account with Lisch has been retroactively recruited and you should both start seeing the benefits in-game shorty :)
