Girlfriend being stalked in-game, GMs no help

So, my girlfriend has recently picked up a stalker from the realm we transferred off of. He's the guild leader of our previous guild and seems determined to harass us and whisper nasty rumors about her to any guildie he can find online in our current guild.

Today marked the third incident involving him, and the third time we've reported him. Each time we submit a ticket, listing character names, what server they're from, etc. the GMs do nothing but tell us to put them on ignore.

What I don't think the GMs understand is that it takes about 30 seconds to delete and create a new level 1 alt or 55 DK alt, so that's of little help at all.

Can anyone suggest what we should do?

I would like to take this opportunity to point out that Ongoing Harassment is something that we do take seriously, and we do take action when we feel that it is needed. The Game Master department often requests that you add players to the ignore list, to help eliminate the interactions and alleviate the stress that harassment can bring.

That being said, please understand that the Game Masters do actually look into a report before taking action on an account. We have extensive logs and in cases where both players are combative we often times action both players, regardless of who petitioned. It is your responsibility to adhere to the policies we have set forth, regardless of someone badgering you or not.

Jiudecca, I don’t know the entire situation surrounding your issue, and I’m not going to dive into the specifics. Based on the notes on your account, though, it does appear that this situation isn’t as clear cut as you make it out to be. I would strongly suggest that both you and your girlfriend ignore your former Guild Leader. If policies are violated, feel free to report him; but don’t let him bait you.
