First attempt:
---------------
Since I was logged onto my existing Battle.net account when I tried to get the RAF ball rolling, the trial account was added to MY existing accounts. I read on these forums I should have logged out of my battle.net account before attempting the trial process. So I have a trial account on my battle.net. I went back to the RAF page and sent another invite to the recruit. On the Status page it shows:
FRIEND: REFERRED: REWARDS: ACCOUNTS LINKED:
Name (Resend Invite) 05-6-10 n/a
First Attempt 05-6-10 Until 08-3-10 @ 8PM
I didn't send second invite using the ("resend invite") link on the status page, I went back to the beginning page and sent it again, starting the process over.
So, today (so far) the Second Attempt:
----------------------------------------------
Had the recruit get onto the new battle.net account and I think the second email code was applied (everything seemed to work).
I was unable to digital upgrade from within that battle.net account for some reason, so on another computer I went to the blizzard.com store and bought digital copy of WoW + 90 days of time.
Since I was on my original battle.net account, my credit card info etc. was already entered and all was verified okay and I was given the two codes for use with the RAF account. I logged off battle.net just to make sure.
I entered the codes into the RAF battle.net account management and even linked an authenticator to the new account. I'm logged onto that account right now but it is still a trial account.
I've checked the RAF page on my battle.net account and it's the same as the chart listed above.
So, what am i missing? I upgraded the account + 90 days (have the $65 charge processed and all codes received and entered). Is there a delay between upgrading an account + paying for 3 months and getting the two accounts linked?
