Hacked, Char Xfered to different wow account?

Well to make a long story short I was hacked in-between the time I was moving. It took me about two weeks before logging in to discover what happened, I recovered my account by calling Billing & Account Services. I also attached an authenticator, and followed the recommend security steps. However I am playing on a brand new computer now so it shouldn't be an issue.

My main character an 80 Tauren Druid that I've been playing since the original wow game was transferred to a new account by an unauthorized party. I filled out the required form (7 Days Ago) to hopefully have my character restored and was simply wondering if someone could tell me if it's being looked into? The person who apparently did the transfer used there credit card/address on my account, I was living in New York and they seem to be from California.

I know that it's completely my fault and that Blizzard is very busy, but any information would be greatly appreciated. I know Blizzard is not obligated to restore my character, but I've put a lot of time and money into the game and would really like to do whatever possible to have my character restored.

Thanks for reading!

If you have already filled out the form, Ganey, then you should be well on your way to getting your druid returned to you. Restorations are taking roughly one week at this point, so you should be hearing back from someone fairly soon now. This is only based off of the information available to me, and is by no means a guarantee of the timeframe your restoration may take. Please understand that each investigation is different, so individual investigations may take more or less time than that. Also, the wait for a completed investigation can fluctuate substantially based on the number of requests submitted to the queue in a given period of time.
