This is a listing of some of the known issues for World of Warcraft Patch 4.0.0.

General Issues
- Druids should now be able to properly train Insect Swarm, however this will not retroactively fix druids who currently cannot.
- Professions should no longer be lost on logout. This may cause issues for players who have already transferred to the realms or who have lost professions, but should be fine for new players.
- You are unable to see the corpses of players from other servers inside of an instance or battleground
- Mounts (both flying and ground) cannot be used in several parts of the world.
- Hair and facial color for the Worgen character creation screen is not correctly working
- War Games are causing several issues when inside of a battleground that may prevent the game from being correctly played.
- New battleground level brackets are not yet implemented
- Training higher levels of riding skill may cause lower levels to become trainable again.
- Random battleground rewards may show up incorrectly or not at all on the queue window
- Several Worgen Female and Male Death Knight faces are distorted
- Players do not remound Swift Spectral Gryphons if they dismount them
- Worgen do not get put on flying mounts when they die in zones that provide the spectral gryphon.
- Battlegrounds are giving the “Not enough players” message regardless of how many people are in the battleground
- Several helmet models clip into the head of Goblin and Worgen male and females.
- Mounting multi-passenger mounts as a passenger on a transport may disconnect the player
- Goblin and Worgen cannot use the LFG system after faction changing or race changing to one of these races.
- Goblin start under the world after a faction change
- Some low level creatures have damage reflection or periodic abilities that are too powerful
- Settings are not saved after exiting the client. (Players using a multi language build will may not be able to chose their desired locale).
User Interface
- Some runeforging abilities do not show up in the runeforging UI
- The UI for conquest points shows a maximum of 13 points
- Guild Members with different box levels may not be able to see professions of other guild members.
- The honor chat filter is not working for battleground objectives
- unts that are both ground and flying mounts cannot be used in the old world without Flight Master’s License.
- Several items are losing their bonus armor when transferring characters to the beta or PTR realms.
Mac
- Using the Expose feature may cuase the UI to become stuck
Items
- The Sandstone Drake mount does not work
- The Lieutenant Commander’s Regalia 2-piece set bonus does not work
- The Beaststalker Armor 6-piece set bonus does not work with new hunter mechanics
- The Gladiator’s Pursuit set bonus has not been updated
Combat
- Stampede is allowing multiple free Ravages after Feral Charge instead of only one
- Overgrowth is not triggered from Nature’s Grasp
- Overgrowth may not apply to nearby targets when using Entangling Roots
- Players are unable to get the Veteran buff when joining a Tol Barad battle after it has started.
- The spell effect visuals for Healing Rain and Earthquake look awkward when cast on a staircase or a steep incline.
- Improved Soul Fire does not work
- The spell effects of Demonic Circle: Summon and Hand of Guldan will cause each other’s visual effects to disappear
- Glyph of Mending does not increase the healing from Mend Pet
Quests
- Chip Endale cannot path causing him to evade if pulled during combat.
- The quest “Small Comforts” is not updated when looting quest items
- Lord Geoffery Wildwolf will teleport around while fighting him
- You are unable to interact with Fallen Stonard Warriors after placing a banner in them while on “Marking the Fallen”.
- Players may be stuck in a bad phase when entering the Chamber of the Stars
- “The World Pillar Fragment” quest event resets very slowly
- Players cannot reobtain the quest “On Our Own Terms” if it is abandoned.
Raids and Dungeons
- Algalon’s platform is no longer transparent
- Harvested Soul does not show up on the Lich King’s buff bar
- Players may be stuck in combat after killing Neptulon
- It is possible to be dropped under the world after being released from Commander Ulthok’s Squeeze
- Several bosses respawn after a soft instance reset
- Several doors do not reopen after an instance soft reset
- The Exit Portal from The Stonecore does not remove you from the instance.
- There is no corpse arrow indicator on where to go if you die and release from The Stonecore
- Players are unable to get to the gunships at the end of Halls of Reflection unless they relog.
- Players may be disconnected when being Charged in the Helix Gearbreaker encounter
Tradeskills
- Spinal Healing Injector and Z50 Mana gulper put potions on permanent cooldowns
- It is not possible to learn Illustrious Grand Master Engineering
- Several leatherworking recipes require 530 skill to learn.
Environment
- There is a collision wall in Greymane Court in Gilneas City that players can be stuck behind
- There are pathing issues where mobs may go under the terrain on Nespirah and L’ghorek
- There is a wall of collision in Shadowfang keep that may prevent player progression
- There are some gaps in the Ironclad Cove of the Deadmines instance that players can get stuck in
- Several buildings have untextured minimaps in Orgrimmar
- Several buildings in Stormwind have untextured minimaps
- Water does not display in Tol Barad on low liquid detail settings.
- Some doodads in Dragonmaw Port incorrectly have horde symbols on them.
- There is some collision in the Ruins of Isildien in Feralas that can cause players to become stuck
Bug Fixes
- Sending a whisper to players from different servers will show the wrong name in the chat logs
- Several helmet models appear as error cubes on goblin male characters.
- Pet health is not being correctly restored after dismounting
- Female Tauren point their guns and crossbows into the air while shooting
- Battleground experience gains are too low
- The /settitle command causes a LUA error
- Pyroblast cannot be used with a /cast pyroblast macro
- Druids are unable to correctly train insect swarm
- Mountainfoot Miners become uninteractible after trying to be picked up by a shapeshifted Druid
- Lady Jaina Proudmoore does not offer to teleport players to Stormwind during “Proof of Treachery”
- The quest “Fortune and Glory” cannot be completed
- The Pimento vehicle for the quest “The Ballad of Maximillian” will not mount the player after using the gossip options.
- Turning in “Abuse of Power” deletes a quest item required for further parts of the quest chain
- The gnome quest “Decontamination” cannot be completed
- The quest “Unlimited Potential” cannot be completed
- “Hyena Harvest” cannot be completed because the item does not properly work
- “Samophlange” cannot be completed.
- Several Cataclysm recipes are missing from trainers
- You are unable to solve the Highborne Soul Mirror item
