2 guild members accounts in as many days. Is this a trend? They take the accounts and use them for ore and herb gathering. How are they activating inactive accounts - they surely aren't spending real dollars to do this.

Game time can be added to hacked accounts the same way it can be added to any other inactive account, Tratt. Often, we find that malicious parties will use credit card information illicitly to make these purchases (possibly credit cards previously used to purchase their services). When we can verify this, the account is locked and the credit card is refunded. Accordingly, it is of utmost importance that you notify your guild members that they should take a few moments to review the following support articles dedicated to computer security and account recovery:

We find that guild mates can sometime be compromised soon after one another due to a vulnerability in account security they both share. Guild members often use similar addons, visit similar websites, download similar programs, and sometimes similar computers.

If you or your guild mates have any questions, please let us know.
