Slight rep problem with faction change

i just faction changed my warrior (this character it hasn't updated yet) i was exalted with the sunreaver faction. but when i logged in after said faction change the alliance equivilent (silver covenant) reset to 0/3000 neutral. is that cuz it's partially related to the argent tournament?
