Fenris is down! If your not busy lagging your being dc'd off this server. Don't start with the its not us its you blah blah blah. Multiple people on different ISP's have this same issue. Common denominator...BLIZZARD SERVER.

Its time to upgrade your servers to handle the load. Whats a new server a few hundred thousand dollars. Small price to pay in conparison to say one million players boycotting your game for a month...1,000,000 x 15.00....hhhmmmm $15,000,000 in loss.

Get your heads around this and fix the issue. While your at it you can start issuing time credits for such poor service. If your were a restaurant and I got service like this. You'd be comping my meals for a month to keep me coming back as a customer.

The bottom line is we pay for game time and it's not exactly cheap by todays gaming standards and we expect to have equal service for the money paid.

Actually the subscription fees are average for the industry and have not gone up the entire time that World of Warcraft has been active. It should also be noted that your subscription fee does take into account maintenance as well as a certain amount of unexpected downtime. That does not mean that Blizzard will sit ideally by while a technical issue preventing access to a specific ream or several realms is going on. We will do what we can as quickly as we can to allow our players access.

If there is an extended unexpected downtime the matter is reviewed after the issue has been fully resolved and if warranted we generally do provide some credit. If you check your Account Management page under your history you'll likely find a day or three added here and there. If you wish to see such compensation provided for the issue today, you are welcome to post in the Suggestion forum with your feedback.

The employees of Blizzard in this forum are in Blue, and although employees aren't prohibited from posted on their personal accounts it isn't something that is very common. Also, simply because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean that they work for the company or don't understand the request, they simply disagree.

That begs the comment to other posters here, if you are not a Blizzard employee, please don't respond on their behalf.

Many here have been reading the answers we have given for a long time now so though they may not be able to respond on our behalf they are usually able to give our stance and previous replies on the subject. My only request would be if everyone was a tad less combative all around. :)

The question does still remain however concerning major lag in some cities such as Dalaran on some servers. This would seem to be an overpopulation issue and what if anything is Blizzard looking to do concerning this issue? It literally is not possible for some people to visit Dalaran unless they have a very decent system with plenty of memory above the system requirements set forth for playing WOW.

It isn't necessary an overall population issue as much as it the number of people in a centralized location. Though a system may normally be able to handle the area itself it may be affected by the amount of players in the area. If you are experiencing an issue in an area such as Dalaran we recommend visiting our Technical Support forum for troubleshooting help. You may also want to use the Lag Report feature to report any latency you experience while in the area. This information is given to our Realm Technicians and Developers who will use it to help improve the performance and stability for all our players both realm and client side.

For issues that may be directly related to the population of a realm it is important to note that we do, on occasion, offer Free Character Moves to help improve the health of a realm as well as the balance of it's factions. If you believe a specific realm could benefit from such Free Character Moves being offered either to or from the realm please post in the Suggestion forum.

I hope that helps. :)
