Q u o t e:
The bottom line is we pay for game time and it's not exactly cheap by todays gaming standards and we expect to have equal service for the money paid.
Actually the subscription fees are average for the industry and have not gone up the entire time that World of Warcraft has been active. It should also be noted that your subscription fee does take into account maintenance as well as a certain amount of unexpected downtime. That does not mean that Blizzard will sit ideally by while a technical issue preventing access to a specific ream or several realms is going on. We will do what we can as quickly as we can to allow our players access.
If there is an extended unexpected downtime the matter is reviewed after the issue has been fully resolved and if warranted we generally do provide some credit. If you check your Account Management page under your history you'll likely find a day or three added here and there. If you wish to see such compensation provided for the issue today, you are welcome to post in the Suggestion forum with your feedback.
The employees of Blizzard in this forum are in Blue, and although employees aren't prohibited from posted on their personal accounts it isn't something that is very common. Also, simply because someone disagrees with you doesn't mean that they work for the company or don't understand the request, they simply disagree.
