Concerns About Ridiculous Tickets

I have recently been in a situation where I have had a ticket regarding a character restoration up for 3 days. The last of the three days, for nearly the entire day it was labeled as "Your ticket will be serviced soon." and after staying up until 5 the next morning, I finally slept. Lo and behold they took the time to respond to me during my biological needs time, stating that I need to create another ticket so we can discuss the matter.

So basically, I am stuck in an endless cycle with an inability to consult a GM on an important issue because they are too busy sorting through endless joke tickets that people administer. Is anything being done to alleviate this system, possibly to go so far as to issue a temporary ban on those that waste what little time GMs have?

I'm not certain what kind of consultation you require, Renega. This was regarding a restoration request, was it not?

Now it seems that you have several accounts attached to this Battle.net account so I can only assume you wish to restore a character on a different account, also associated with this Battle.net account. If you provide the name and realm of the character and let them know it is on an alternate account or provide the same information in an e-mail to [email protected] from the registered address for the account they should be able to help.

If I'm misreading the situation please let me know and give me a few more details and I'll see what I can do.

Thank you, I will try to contact them by that email as well. I was concerned that I would need to talk to someone in person to explain the situation better, due to the amount of accounts associated with my Battlenet.

(On the plus side, you also gave me hope that you were able to find the character in question so quickly).

You are allowed to have multiple World of Warcraft accounts bound to your Battle.net account so there shouldn't be any issues. As long as you are the registered user on the account you are fine.

Characters above level 50+ are never removed from our database even if they are deleted. So our In-Game Support staff very well may be able to recover the character for you. Just make sure you list the associated World of Warcraft account that the character is on when you write or petition in.
