Transfering toons from one account to another

Is it possible to transfer toons from one of my accounts to another of my accounts? If for instance I decide to close one of my accounts and have space left on the other one, is it possible to transfer say 2 of the toons from the account that would be closed over to the account that would remain open? Both accounts are on the same battlenet account. If so, how would this work?

To initiate it, log into the Account Management webpage for the source account, and select the destination account when you start the transfer process.

Thanks for the throwdown, Pahanda. make sure you check all the restrictions :) It is pretty much the same as it has ever been; Account holder names need to match, you cannot transfer characters from expansion accounts to non-expansion accounts, Death Knights need to be at least level 60, and the like.
