Expired mail not being returned

I've noticed mails that indicated they would be returned have not been.
There have been mails over the past while (months?) that I thought I should be getting back but I wasn't sure.
I wasn't certain at first, but now I'm dead certain.
I had numerous mails that were scheduled for return, and when I logged on the next day were nowhere to be found.
I left a GM message and they have asked me for a list of what was lost and to whom I sent the items.
This request is ridiculous. I have no way to know what I sent. and I specifically stated these mails were sent to other characters on my account. It doesn't take a rocket scientist.

Why is the mail system not working according to the documentation, and why can't you people do the research to get me back my items. You have the servers, you have the damn logs.

Please fix this.

Because we need some idea of what you are talking about, Peachtheelf. Simply stating that you are missing mail and that it was there one day and gone the next on some characters isn't nearly enough information to actually look into your issue.

That is not the purpose of these forums, Peachtheelf. I'm sorry if you felt a request for information was pointless but if you wish for our staff to look into your situation you'll need to give us some information to go on.
