One-way Faulty Account Link

On Saturday, I used the Recruit a Friend page on the website to send my friend a RAF email. I then watched him click the link provided in the email and follow the instructions to make his battle.net account and free trial that should be linked to my account. When I check my account links, it does indeed show his name and a colored box indicating that his account is linked to mine and that he has activated his free trial, so far so good. Yesterday, he upgraded his account to WoW Burning Crusade. However, on my RAF page, it does not show his account as upgraded to a standard account; it is still the color of a free trial. The bigger problem is that when he logs on the WoW website and checks his account links, it does not list me as his referrer, or any links at all, even though my account lists his as a referee. I'm absolutely positive that we followed the instructions and that this is a website error/bug. Any help would be greatly appreciated so that we can begin playing together; we feel it is a waste to do so until our proper account link is restored and we gain the correct RAF benefits. Thanks a bunch.

It looks like the pass was used to create a trial on your own account, so your friend is not getting the bonus as he did not use the key himself. It looks like you have one more key sent out that has not been used up. If you could give me your friends character name and realm, I can begin looking into getting the two of you retroactively linked up. Please reply with the details and I will go through the motions :)

Alright, you and your friend should be linked now. There is one downside though... I may have used that Recruit-A-Friend key you sent out to someone else >.> <.< >.> Really though, you will just have to send out another Recruit-A-Friend invite if the other friend gets an invalid message :)

What the heck do I look like to you?! Some sort of.... oh. Sent! Was not sure what your friends name was, so I guessed, but it is going to the same e-mail address.
