Bind to account Items

We are all familiar w the heirloom vendor in dalaran selling 'Bind To Account' items, as well as the one in Wintergrasp.

We are also all aware that blizzard hates scammers.

So why are Bind to Account items limited to realms?

I have opened numerous tickets to get some items sent from a character on one realm to one on a different realm. Ive heard, from a GM, that a 'one way transfer' may be possible. Others say, no. to pay the $25 dollars for a realm change, and make sure to bring the stuff w me.

Seems like a scam. Your selling bind to realm items and calling them bind to account. When asked to resolve this, you ask for more money!
Ive been playing for over a year. at 15 a month, and 50 bucks for each installment, thats a good amount of money youve made from me, and other players, already.

Why not fix this and let us mail stuff back and forth as we please? people that want realm changes, will still pay for them.
If no changes are made, we should be given the option to return these 'bind to realm' items and get our emblems back.

We got scammed.

You have not been scammed, Thirdhorn. The Bind on Account system, when introduced, was limited by the in-game mailing system. Meaning, the restrictions in place for sending in-game mail also affected the transfer of Bind on Account items. We've slowly, but surely started making adjustments to this system to enable players to share BoA items with more characters on their account. We've more adjustments planned for the future.

Q u o t e:
Q. Are there any plans to implement cross-faction/cross-realm mail(for BoA gear and such)?
A. We have cross-faction mail for BoA items now; cross-realm is a work in progress, but we hope to have it done “soon."
