Recruit a friend issue

I setup a recruit friend as a second account, everything looks good. A Customer service person who I spoke to on the phone said I could buy one of those pre-paid cards and add that to the account and I should get the mount without waitng for the credit card to to be charged. So I went to walmart and bought a 60 day pre-paid card , put in the code on the "Recruited" linked account not the veteran account and it took fine but no reward yet. How long does this usually take ? or did I mess up some where?

I am showing that the Gamecard did work for the two month payment, and the rewards have been earned. When you revisit the Recruit-A-Friend page in account management, are you able to check the rewards tab and check on claiming the mount yet?

It could just be the site taking some time to update and reflect the status of the upgrade, but you may wish to clear your cookies and temp files, or log in from a different web browser to make sure you are not just viewing a cached version of the page from before your upgrade.

Heyo, Treia. I am still showing the same thing as yesterday. Your account is showing as upgraded. You have been granted a free month which you should see as pending in your transactions. The mount is still showing as available to be claimed by you. The only thing I could think of besides a browser display issue mentioned yesterday is the other thing you just mentioned, the 72 hour window. It actually has not been over 72 hours since this new account was created, its been less than 48 hours. Meaning there is still a bit over a day before that window for finalization, which might allow you to see the mount for claiming. As we are still showing the mount as claimable though, I do recommend trying to redeem it from a different computer or web browser, just to make sure you get a fresh version of the site and nothing cached.
