Unfair looting in randoms

So a BOE epic sword drops during a random. 3 people in the group, including myself can't roll need on it because we can not use swords. But the two people who can do roll need just because they can.

So they get a nice weapon to sell and the rest of the group gets screwed.

This is above unfair.

I know blah blah blah suggestions forums.... I am not making a suggestion.

I am asking if I can do anything about this? Can I put in a ticket? Or just suck it up?

This is straight up Blizzard allowing someone to "ninja" an item by rolling need when they do not need it and will not use it and when no one else in the group is allowed to roll on it. :(

The Need before Greed system allows only those who can use an item roll Need on that item. I'm sorry, Caelismee, we are unable to intervene in a system that is currently considered to be working as intended.

Even if an item does not Bind on Pick Up if the character is able to use it they may roll need on it. This would have applied to any Bind on Equip item, such as Leather or a Staff, etc. . . . there are those out there who feel that if a Bind on Equip item drops that can not be used by some members of the group they shouldn't be able to roll on it, others disagree. The system does not determine on if the item is an upgrade for you or not or if you will use it, it works by simply determining if you qualify for the loot, if you can, roll.

If you believe Bind on Equip items should be exempt from this looting method you are welcome to post your feedback in the Suggestion forum.
