Can't get back abandoned quest ?

i was on the 22nd quest out of a 35 quest chain to get exhaulted with sons of hodir to get my shoulder enchants. however, on teh 22nd quest, The Drakkensryd , I accidentally fell off the dragon to my death & abandoned the quest, thinking I would go back to the quest giver & get a new dragon (Couldn't find the quest giver unless she had the yellow "!" above her, which is why I abandoned the quest). However, now I can't find her. Also, I was friendly with the blue people in the area where the quest giver should be because I was under disguise, but now my costume is gone and they are red to me and attack me. How can I get the quest back? Do I have to start over from the begining? I hope not because there's no reason I should have to, I don't want to re-do 22 quests. Please help! =(
