Recruit a Friend Not Functional

I invited my friend to play WoW. He received the email. He set up his battle.net account. He received another email with an authentication key. He entered that key for his 10-day trial. I log in to party with him and we get no xp boost. He upgrades his account to the full version. Still no xp boost after trial account restrictions are listed. I emailed account support a few days ago with no response and I can't get through the telephone service because of the high call volume. It's actually quite comical because the automated service tells you that you have to call back another time. There is no option to wait for a representative.

Mind that battle.net accounts say that we are linked on both accounts and he has signed up for the trial account, but hasn't shown his full account upgrade on my end. his battenet account shows the upgrade. It's been about 10 days since the trial was activated and 3 since he upgraded to the full version.

I'm very disappointed in this service.

Unfortunately, Judaas, the only active Recruit a Friend account that I see is currently bound to the same Battle.net account that the account you are posting on is on.

I assume that the two of you were in the same room and using the same computer? Because if he received the e-mail and clicked on the link in that invitation while you were still logged into your Battle.net account it would have created the account on your Battle.net account.

Our Billing department should be able to get you two properly linked. Please give them a call, I understand that lines are incredibly busy but please keep trying, they are working through those calls as quickly as possible to get to as many people as they can.
