Hey there, Raujate. I'm very sorry to hear that you're having difficulty accessing your account. =/

If you are being asked for an authentication code when logging into the game client or Account Management, but did not personally associate an Authenticator with your account, then it's very likely that your account has been compromised. Unfortunately, this is a very common trend: in many cases of compromise, an unauthorized party will associate an Authenticator with the account in order to prevent the registered user from logging in.

Our Account Services department can help, though! We've many representatives that are more than happy to assist you in recovering your account. We've many representatives that are more than happy to assist you in recovering your account. Account Services representatives are available 7 days a week from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM PDT and may be reached by phoning 1-800-59-BLIZZARD. International customers may also use the numbers listed here (http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/20606).Have you tried calling yet? If not, please go ahead and do that now! You can also email billing@blizzard.com, but I would only do so in addition to any calling attempts.

In the meantime, while you're on hold, I'd encourage you to review the following step-by-step guide in full, as it will walk you through every part of the recovery process: securing your account (very important!), recovering access, reporting any losses, and what to expect from the restoration process.

If you have any questions, concerns, or even comments about any of this information, please let me know. I'm happy to help. :)

I jsut had a look at the armory. Apparently, a lot of my toons hae been stripped naked. Looks like a hack, or what I've heard of them, all right. The big question is, how.

If it appears items are missing from your characters (or that characters are missing), you can go ahead and email wowgm@blizzard.com listing what you've found. We can probably start an investigation that way. :)

In the meantime, here's a helpful guide full of tips and tricks for increasing your account's security:

More importantly, don't they ask those questions two or three when someone attaches an authenticator to your account, before they authorize it? They certainly asked at least one, when I changed my password an hour and a half or so ago.

To successfully attach an Authenticator to a Battle.net account, one must possess both the account name and password for the account, as well the Authenticator's serial number. The full process is detailed here: http://us.blizzard.com/support/article/26552

If you believe additional security features should be added, perhaps in the form of security questions, then please do post your thoughts on our Suggestions Forum. :)
